CAI-Houston’s
“Community Spotlight”
Radio Program
What: CAI-Houston is producing a weekly news/talk radio show called “Community Spotlight” which features guests who address specific weekly topics. Distinguished guests include local, regional, state and national political leaders, business leaders, homeowners, homeowner association (“HOA”), board members and others with vested interests in HOAs. The show is moderated by CAI-Houston rotating hosts and gives ample opportunity for listeners to call in with questions pertinent to the subject that week.
When: “Community Spotlight” airs each Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. – just right for the early afternoon commute or the half day workers. It is also audio-streamed on the Internet allowing those who can’t get to a radio at that time to hear the program live.
Where: “Community Spotlight” is aired by CNN650 Radio News (KIKK-AM). In addition, all programs are available in pod cast format from the CAI website preserving the advertisers’ messages indefinitely. Pod casting is now available on many cell phones, dynamically extending the listenership range.
Why: To promote the value of community associations in the Greater Houston area. Controversial issues will not be avoided but the show will make sure that ALL sides of an issue are explored, not just those normally exploited by other media.
Other: CNN650 Radio News will provide recording studios, copy writing and production assistance in creating the advertising copy, if requested. In addition a recording studio may be available in Sugar Land if that is more convenient for Advertiser.
Advertisers may also be selected as guests on the show.
CNN650 Radio News is very excited about “Community Spotlight” and promotes it throughout the day on their other shows, helping to drive listenership to our show.
